Mohsen "Mo" Etezazi opened Fitness 2000 24 Hour Health Club in December of 1995 in the Parklane Shopping Center. Over the years Fitness 2000 has continuously remodeled and expanded and now offers over 50 pieces of cardiovascular equipment, Cybex circuit training equipment, and over 17,000 pounds of Hammer & Cybex free weight equipment. There are 49 aerobics classes per week, Yoga & Stress management classes, karate, karate for kids, muaythai kick boxing, indoor track, personal training, massage therapy, seven tanning beds (five of which are hex beds), pool, water aerobics, hot tub steam room and dry sauna.

In May of 1998, Fitness 2000 took over the old Varsity Sports space expanding this area into a deli shop with 6" and 12" sandwiches with the breads baked daily. The deli also offers smoothies, which are protein and meal replacement shakes. The second half of the space was remodeled into a pro shop offering a complete line of sportswear and supplements.

The Parklane location has proven to be a great location for Fitness 2000 in terms of demographics and visibility (Boeing, Cessna, Raytheon, and McConnell Air Force workers, for example). In September 2001, Fitness 2000 will open a second location for women only.
