R. Jerry DeGrado, DC, FICC

DeGrado Chiropractic was established in August of 1986 and has been open at Parklane Shopping Center for over 20 years.

R. Jerry DeGrado, DC, FICC, is a native of Kansas, born and raised in Newton. He is married to wife, Diedre, and they have eight children between them.

Dr. DeGrado's education includes an Arts Degree of Human Biology, Bachelor of Science in Biology, and Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan Collage of Chiropractic. His professional service includes Kansas Chiropractic Association Insurance Committee Member (1989-2000), KCA Medicare Committee Chairman (1990-1996), Kansas ACA Medicare Representative (1993-1996), ACA Medicare Committee (1996-1997), KCA Vice President (1996), KCA President (1997-1999), KCA Insurance Committee Chairman (1998-2000), KCA Educational Chairman (1999-present), COCSA District 4 Director (2000), ACA Alternative Health Care Commiittee (2000-2002), KCA Video Committee (2001-present), COCSA Ways and Means Committee Chairman (2001-present), COCSA Back Pack Safety Chairman (2001-present), COCSA Treasurer (2001-2002), COCSA 2nd Vice President (2003-2004), COCSA 1st Vice President (2005 to present), and COCSA's National Backpack Safety Chairman since 2001.

Dr. DeGrado has received many awards over the last 20 years, one of those being Chiropractic of the Year in the state of Kansas in 1998.

Professional affiliations include student member of the International Chiropractic Association (1982-1985), Kansas Chiropractic Assocaition member since 1982, American Chiropractic Association member since 1996, and a member of the High County Chiropractic Knights of the Round Table since 2002.

Dr. DeGrado has over 50 hours a year in continuing education and along with treating his patients with chiropractic, he also gives consultations in nutritional care. Dr. DeGrado uses many different chiropractic techniques along with physical therapy to help guide patients back to health.
